Aftrap van BEWOGEN 2022 in Nekkersdal
NL - Meer dan 30 nieuwkomers & locals namen gisteren deel aan de eerste workshopnamiddag van GC Nekkersdal in Laken. Op het programma: schilderen, radio en DJ!
Een klein verslag:
Eerste dag van de workshops in Nekkersdal. Eerste keer dat we terug allemaal samenkomen voor een grote activiteit. Wel moeilijk te vinden, door al die gangen van het gemeenschapscentrum 🙂.
Maar eenmaal aangekomen was het de moeite! Romain en Hélène van Radio Marie Christine namen interviews af met de deelnemers. Na een tijdje begon iedereen elkaar te interviewen - in het Nederlands, Frans, Arabisch, Dari en Pashtu!
Ondertussen iets verder aan de DJ-tafel: stagiair Guillaume geeft een workshop voor
alle DJ-fans. Drie uur lang zotte mixen, terwijl de decibels almaar hoger suisden. Was dit een feestje? Misschien wel, maar dat vertellen we hier natuurlijk niet :-).
Wie kalmte wou, kon de zaal ernaast terecht voor een workshop zeefdruk en vlaggen schilderen. Binnen 2 weken staan we namelijk aan de Beurs met een mobiele sound system die nog wat inkleding nodig heeft. Eli van het collectief Les Chardon.nes deed dat fantastisch: elke visueel idee kreeg een plek op een vlag of spandoek. Aan de Beurs gaan we zeker en vast opvallen!
Einde van de avond: pizza-time en karaoke door de blijven-plakkers.

FR - Plus de 30 nouveaux arrivants et locaux ont participé hier après-midi au premier atelier du GC Nekkersdal à Laeken. Au programme : peinture, radio et DJ !
Un petit rapport :
Premier jour des ateliers à Nekkersdal. C'est la première fois que nous nous retrouvons tous ensemble pour une grande activité. Difficile à trouver cependant, à travers tous ces couloirs du centre communal 🙂 . Mais une fois que nous sommes arrivés, cela en valait la peine ! Romain et Hélène de Radio Marie Christine réalisaient des interviews avec les participants. Au bout d'un moment, tout le monde a commencé à s'interroger les uns les autres - en néerlandais, en français, en arabe, en dari et en pachtou !
Un peu plus loin à la table des DJ: le stagiaire Guillaume donne un atelier pour tous les fans de DJ. Trois heures de mixage insensé, tandis que les décibels augmentaient de plus en plus. C'était une fête? Peut-être, mais nous ne vous le dirons pas ici :-).
Qui voulait un peu plus de calme, pourrait participer à un atelier de sérigraphie et de peinture sur drapeau dans la salle voisine. Dans 2 semaines, nous serons à la Bourse avec un système de son mobile qui a encore besoin d'être décoré. Eli du collectif Les Chardon.nes fait un travail fantastique: chaque idée visuelle a trouvé sa place sur un drapeau ou une bannière. Nous nous distinguerons certainement à la Bourse !
Fin de la soirée: pizza et karaoké. A la semaine prochaine!

A small report:
First day of workshops at Nekkersdal. First time we all came together again for a big activity. Difficult to find though, through all those corridors of the community centre 🙂 . But once we arrived it was worth it! Romain and Hélène from Radio Marie Christine were doing interviews with the participants. After a while, everyone started interviewing each other - in Dutch, French, Arabic, Dari and Pashtu!
Meanwhile, a little further on at the DJ table: intern Guillaume gives a workshop for all DJ fans. Three hours of foolish mixing, while the decibels went higher and higher. Was this a party? Maybe, but we won't tell you that here :-).
If you wanted to take it easy, you could attend a workshop on screen printing and flag painting in the room next door. In 2 weeks time, we will be at the Beurs with a mobile sound system that needs some decoration. Eli from the Les Chardon.nes collective did a fantastic job: every idea got visualised on a flag or banner. We will definitely stand out at the Bourse!
End of the evening: pizza time and karaoke by the stayers.
